I EMBODY THE PHYSICALITY AND FAMILIARITY OF THE APOCALYPSE
MY POWER IS LIMINAL, OFF PUTTING, AND MATERIAL
MY HEART YEARNS TO BELONG AND BE BELONGED IN
The Locus is a custom playbook for Apocalypse Keys by Rae Nedjadi (and published by Evil Hat Productions). Play as a living location: be in control of your environment, hide secrets and skeletons in your basement, and struggle with understanding people when you never were one. This playbook took inspiration from characters/places such as The Oldest House (Remedy Game's Control), Danny the Street (Doom Patrol), Krakoa (X-Men), Quire (Friends at the Table's Twilight Mirage), and many more.
This was made as part of the Omen Project, a grant funded by Evil Hat Productions and Rae Nedjadi to support designers who want to create and publish their own Apocalypse Keys games and supplements. Included is a reference sheet, a character sheet, and a plain text document.

Also, could use a final mystery move
I have read many custom playbooks in my time, and very few have the level of depth and polish that this one does. The act of making a location into a playable character is impressive onto itself. I highly reccomend this, and I hope to use it in a game very soon. 10/10, will read again.
